Keith Everson played a pivotal role in the formation of the charity in 2009. As first cousin to Margaret Mizen, he felt first-hand the impact Jimmy’s death had on the family.
After offering to support Barry and Margaret setting up a charity in Jimmy’s name, he quickly became one of our first Trustees and later Chair of of the Board of Trustees. Within his role he helped steer the charity from an idea formed around the Mizen kitchen table, into an award winning organisation that impacts the lives of young people across the country. Since serving his maximum time in the position of Chair, Keith is now the charities convenor and continues to hold annual fundraising events within his masonic lodge.
