Good Hope Cafés

Our Good Hope cafés are a beacon of what a community business should look and feel like, a haven of peace and safety.

Our first Good Hope opened in 2010 and was seen as a way to help make the charity money, which could be used to carry out our work in the local community. We soon began to employ young people, offer work experience and have partnered with Drumbeat School and ASD Services over the past few years to provide personalised placements for young people with Autism, enabling them to experience the workplace and acquire a range of essential skills.

We have now established three Good Hope cafés across Lewisham, providing vibrant community spaces with delicious food and weekly events from pop-up restaurants, children’s groups, comedy nights and film screenings.
